Where it All Began
The world of Visionz of Insanity started at the young age of 9, writing poetry in notebooks. He utilized the words as an escape from the world that he felt wasn't where he belonged. Diving into the world of music as an escape from emotionally unavailable parents, he found solitude within the lyrics of House of Pain, Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J, Eminem, Coolio, and many others. He found his home within the melodies of Mozart. Music became his escape and his own comfort when nothing else felt safe within his life.
Music and Spirituality
Throughout the years VOI has driven a force through the shadows of his inner workings, embracing darkness that many fear. He found a home within the horror core scene listening to and connecting with the juggalo community. He began creating his own unique style of hip-hop/rap by utilizing horror core lyrics with spiritual undertones. He became known to close fans as the Hip Hop Viking with a Viking Flow. Within his words hidden meanings and ways to grow spiritually were placed for those to find. Lyrics that were hidden to be discovered by those listeners that gave it the time to dissect and embrace the message each time.
Staying Focused
Over the years Visionz of Insanity was placed on the back burner due to other obligations, however, in November of 2022 he decided that it had been placed there for far too long. In December he began promoting again and recording. From December 2022 until March 2023 he released a new single every single week before taking a short break to regroup and refocus. He has stayed consistent with his music and finished the year strong releasing "Prayer", "Shadow Worker", and "Calm Within the Storm Evolved". 2024 has been no exception to his focus and goals as he begins the year with the release of "Viking Raider (Part 2)" and "No More Lies".
